If the room has space, yes. A double gives your child room to spread out, read and play in bed, and it's a size they can keep well into their teenage years, so it's often the most cost-effective choice in the long run.
The frame takes up 200 × 145 cm of floor space, so it suits medium to large children's bedrooms. Allow around 60 cm of clear space along at least one side for easy access.
It's designed for older toddlers and young children, and we recommend it from 4 years. The low side rails help keep bedding in place while your child gets in and out independently.
Yes. Low side rails run around the frame to hold the mattress and bedding in place and give a cosy, secure feel, without stopping your child from climbing in and out.
A double (135 cm wide) offers the most space and lasts the longest. If your child's room is more compact, our small double floor bed (120 cm wide) gives extra room over a single while taking up less floor space.
A floor bed sits right at floor level for the easiest access. If you'd like airflow and storage space under the mattress, our low rise beds with 20 cm legs come in the same double size.

Built the bed this evening - very clear online instructions, simple to build and feels very solid without the mattress on yet.
Teressa replied to my questions after midnight on Sunday immediately and item was dispatched Monday morning and delivered Tuesday afternoon.
Only thing that isn’t ideal is that the bed slats are loose and do not fit into a slot / or attached to bed in any way so will move at slightest touch / mattress being placed on top. But first world issue! Hopefully our toddler will love the bed and his independence.
