This bed fits a standard UK double mattress, 135 × 190 cm (4ft6). Because it's a standard double size, mattresses and bedding are easy to find. Mattress not included.
Not if the room allows it. A double gives a child the most space to sleep, play and read, and it's a bed they can keep well into their teenage years, so you won't need to buy another bed as they grow.
The frame measures 200 × 145 cm, so it suits larger children's bedrooms. As a guide, allow around 60 cm of clear space on at least one side for easy access and making the bed.

Built the bed this evening - very clear online instructions, simple to build and feels very solid without the mattress on yet.
Teressa replied to my questions after midnight on Sunday immediately and item was dispatched Monday morning and delivered Tuesday afternoon.
Only thing that isn’t ideal is that the bed slats are loose and do not fit into a slot / or attached to bed in any way so will move at slightest touch / mattress being placed on top. But first world issue! Hopefully our toddler will love the bed and his independence.
